Wendy's Slapper

This happened a long time ago. I haven’t seen my cousin for a long, long time, maybe a decade, I forgot.
Anyway, I happen to be visiting the area so we agreed to meet at Wendy’s.
I was so excited to see my cousin.

As soon as I entered Wendy’s, I quickly scanned the room to find my cousin,
I saw him sitting far away, his back turned to me, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity
to surprise him as he didn’t see me enter.

I approached him as quickly and as quietly as I could.
When I reached him, I gave him a big, very enthusiastic slap on the shoulder.
Kinda strong I think as I was very excited.
He looked up at me with a very surprised look, my jaw fell to the floor.
He wasn’t my cousin.

I quickly apologized over and over again explaining the situation.
Meanwhile, I heard a howling laughter across the room.
It was my cousin who saw all of this unfold.
